From Paris to Pahalgam: Why the World Must Unite to Defeat Radical Islam

The Pahalgam massacre is not just a tragic incident—it is a global alarm bell. It demands that we move beyond denial, break through communal divisions, and face the jihadist threat that endangers the foundation of civilized society. The era of appeasement and half-measures is over. The battle to defend our shared civilizational future must begin—decisively and now.
  • The April 2025 attack in Kashmir, where Hindus were selectively targeted, marks a dangerous escalation in jihadist violence and sends a chilling geopolitical message.
  • From India to Europe and the U.S., radical Islamic violence follows a consistent, global pattern—fueled by ideology, enabled by leftist denial, and protected by democratic naivety.
  • The Reconquista and China’s crackdown in Xinjiang show that jihad can be countered effectively with long-term unity, strategy, and resolve.
  • Nations must form a coalition to isolate terror-sponsoring states like Pakistan, enforce zero-tolerance laws, and strike at the roots—madrassas and ideological indoctrination.
  • The enemy is not at the gates—it’s inside. This is a fight for the future of pluralistic, democratic societies. Delay or denial will only hasten collapse.

There comes a time when a nation must confront an uncomfortable truth — that the enemy is no longer at the gates but already inside the citadel. The recent terror attack in Kashmir, which selectively targeted and killed innocent Hindus, marks such a turning point for India and the world at large. It was not just an act of brutality but a chilling message: the ideological war being waged against civilized society has crossed a threshold.

The brutality (of Pahalgam massacre) was deliberate and symbolic: victims were asked their names and forced to recite religious verses, with attackers checking for circumcision to identify and spare Muslims

On April 22, 2025, the serene meadows of Baisaran Valley in Pahalgam were shattered by one of the deadliest terror attacks in recent memory. Terrorists from ‘The Resistance Front’ (TRF), a Pakistan-backed proxy, opened fire on a group of tourists, killing at least 28 and injuring over 20 more. Survivors recount how the attackers selectively targeted Hindus, sparing some with the message to “go tell Modi” — a chilling threat meant to instill terror across the nation.[1]

The brutality was deliberate and symbolic: victims were asked their names and forced to recite religious verses, with attackers checking for circumcision to identify and spare Muslims.[2] This was not random violence; it was a calculated attempt to send a message, ignite communal discord, and undermine India’s pluralistic fabric.

India: Ground Zero for Global Jihad

For India, the threat is both historical and contemporary. The Pahalgam massacre is part of a long, bloody continuum of jihadist violence in the Indian subcontinent dating back to the turn of the 20th century. The Partition of 1947 created Pakistan and, later, Bangladesh — both born through bloody, sectarian lines and the expulsion of Hindus. In the 1990s, the forced exodus of Hindus from Kashmir effectively turned the valley into an Islamic enclave.[3] Today, Hindu minorities in states across India face escalating violence, often with political and ideological cover from leftist and so-called secular forces. In Bengal, the Muslims, with assistance from the ruling secular party, have effectively turned the Bengali Hindus into virtual hostages who are rampantly attacked whenever the Muslims perceive they have been victimized.

The Pahalgam attack must be understood in this broader context. It is not an isolated incident. It is part of a sustained campaign to erode India’s civilizational foundation, intimidate the majority, and normalize the targeting of Hindus under the guise of political grievance or historical wrongs.

Globally, terrorism has grown more coordinated, brutal, and emboldened.

The attack’s timing, coinciding with high-profile diplomatic visits by U.S. Vice President JD Vance and aggressive rhetoric from Pakistan’s military leadership, further underscores its geopolitical intent.

India is not alone in facing this crisis. Globally, terrorism has grown more coordinated, brutal, and emboldened. Islamic terror attacks, often by lone hyenas, have become rampant across Europe, especially in Germany, which made the suicidal mistake of accepting over a million unvetted Muslim refugees in 2015.[4]

The October 7, 2023, massacre in Israel, where over a thousand civilians were slaughtered and more than 200 kidnapped by Hamas, highlighted the extent to which radical ideologies are prepared to go.Babies, women, Holocaust survivors — none were spared.[5] The goal is clear: to instill terror, to dominate through fear, and to dismantle pluralistic societies one atrocity at a time.

Jihad Without Borders

Islamic terror is not a regional issue. It is a global one, with members of just one religion, Islam, attacking members of all other religions. Muslims attack Hindus in India; Muslims attack Christians in Europe; Muslims attack Buddhists in Myanmar; Muslims attack Sinhalas in Sri Lanka; Muslims attack Zoroastrians in Iran; Muslims attack Yezidis in Iraq; and Muslims attack gays in American nightclubs; basically, Muslims have a problem with everyone else.

According to the French think tank Fondation Pour L’Innovation Politique, between 1979 and April 2024, they recorded 66,872 Islamist attacks worldwide. These attacks caused the deaths of at least 249,941 people.[6] No other religious group can match these numbers.

The picture looks even more alarming when you see that the overwhelming majority — or 84.4% — of those killings took place after 2013. From 1979-2000: 2,194 attacks and 6,817 deaths; 2001-2012: 8,265 attacks and 38,187 deaths; 2013-April 2024: 56,413 attacks and 204,937 deaths. Worse, from a Hindu point of view, the Indian subcontinent leads in the number of attacks (31.2%) and deaths (33.7%).

How Liberal Denial Empowers Islamic Extremism

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained, you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” – Sun Tzu, a 5th-century Chinese strategist.

The No.1 problem in dealing with Islamic terrorism is either a complete lack of understanding of Islam or stubborn denial by the liberals that there is a problem at all. Across the world, the left and the liberals have become the shield of Islam, which leads to bizarre situations where liberal politicians and judges are openly cozying up to radical elements. This is because they do not understand the ultimate aim of Islam, which is to eradicate all non-Muslims and bring the planet under one Islamic caliph.

For instance, in the U.S., a federal judge blocked President Donald Trump’s ban on people from five of the most dangerous Muslim countries on the planet — Chad, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria, and Yemen.[7] In the UK, a victim of the Pakistani pedophile gangs in Rotherham was asked by the police to take down her social media posts about the scandal.[8] The Supreme Court of India is seeking to overturn a recently passed law that seeks to give relief to non-Muslims whose properties are being illegally claimed by a Muslim endowment organization.[9]

Among the leading causes of radicalization of young minds are the 26 Ayats (verses) of the Quran, which unequivocally exhort the followers of Islam to hate and kill non-Muslims.

Among the leading causes of radicalization of young minds are the 26 Ayats (verses) of the Quran, which unequivocally exhort the followers of Islam to hate and kill non-Muslims. Yet, in 2024 when, former Shia Central Waqf Board Chairman Waseem Rizvi filed a Public Interest Litigation before the Supreme Court of India, seeking their removal from the Quran, saying Islamist terrorist groups use these verses as justification for attacks on non-believers and civilians, his petition was dismissed by the court for being “absolutely frivolous.” Plus, to rub it in, he was fined ₹50,000.[10]

Rizvi argued, “There are many Muslim madrassas all over the world where young children are taught Islam, and the Holy Quran is explained to the Islamic students who are working for terrorist activities, in the Quranic surahs… It is like poison in the raw minds of young children in the name of the message of Allah, which leads him to a radical mindset and from his early age when they become young, they hate people of other religions because of their mindset, and many youths get involved with terrorist organizations in some way under this mentality, the wrong messages of Allah has been filled in the name of Islam.”[11]

Venomous Verses

Below is a short selection from the 26 problematic verses. Nobody can argue against the fact that these are fertile sources of radicalization.[12]

  • Surah 3 (Ali ‘Imran) Verse 151: We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve…..
  • Surah 4 (An-Nisa) Verse 56: Indeed, those who disbelieve in Our verses – We will drive them into a fire. Every time their skins are roasted through, we will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted in Might and Wise.
  • Surah 5 (Al-Ma’idah) Verse 51: O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies.
  • Surah 9 (At-Tawbah) Verse 5: And when the inviolable months have passed, kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush.
  • Verse 29: Fight against those who do not believe in Allah or the Last Day….
  • Verse 123: O you who have believed, fight against those adjacent to you of the disbelievers and let them find in you harshness.
  • Surah 41 (Fussilat) Verse 27: But We will surely cause those who disbelieve to taste a severe punishment, and We will surely recompense them for the worst of what they had been doing.
  • Verse 28: That is the recompense of the enemies of Allah – the Fire. For them, therein is the home of eternity as recompense for what they, of Our verses, were rejecting.
  • Surah 66 (At-Tahrim) Verse 9: O Prophet, strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh upon them. And their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the destination.
Do They Misread Islam — or Understand It Too Well?

But do ordinary Muslims take these ayats literally? Let’s listen to what a Muslim terrorist has to say about this. On May 22, 2013, Lee Rigby, a soldier in the British army, was attacked and killed by two British men, Michael Adebowale and Michael Adebolajo, who had recently converted to Islam. This brutal crime received widespread media coverage and was intended to reach as broad an audience as possible; the attackers made sure to attract the attention of passersby and encouraged them to record the incident on their phones. The attackers were later found to be guilty of killing Rigby and were sentenced to life imprisonment. The apology offered by Michael Adebolajo was notable, as he claimed that he was “brainwashed” and “misinterpreted the Koran in trying to justify his horrific actions.”[13]

Aladdin Al-Tarawneh, associate professor at Jordan’s Zarqa University, comments: “The attackers were of Nigerian descent and knew no Arabic. After killing Lee Rigby, Adebolajo called on the people around him to contact the police, justifying his horrific deed by saying, ‘Muslims are dying daily by British soldiers. And this British soldier is one. It is an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ He added, ‘Through many passages in the Quran, we must fight them as they fight us.’ Therefore, Adebolajo claimed that his justification for killing was inspired by the Quran.”

From Tolerance to Retaliation: The World’s Brewing Response to Jihad

Due to the rapid pace of Muslim population growth and the accompanying rise in terror attacks across the world, many people today feel overwhelmed, believing that the spread of jihad is inevitable. Common sentiments like “London is lost to the Pakistanis,” “Minneapolis has become an Islamist enclave,” or “Bengal will be swallowed by Bangladesh” reflect this growing despair. However, history shows that jihad can be defeated when societies unite with determination and purpose. The Reconquista is a powerful historical example—Christian kingdoms in Spain, after centuries under Muslim rule, reclaimed their lands through persistence and strategic unity. In modern times, China has effectively suppressed Islamist extremism in Xinjiang – albeit through controversial policies.

The Reconquista began in 711 CE when Muslim forces from North Africa invaded the Iberian Peninsula, swiftly establishing control over most of the region and founding Al-Andalus. In response, Christian resistance emerged in the mountainous north, where small enclaves held out and gradually expanded southward over the next 700 years. The Reconquista culminated in 1492 when the Spanish finally drove out the last of the Muslims from their country.[14]

Throughout the Reconquista, Spanish forces employed ruthless strategies to reclaim territory. Military force, political maneuvering, religious influence, and demographic reshaping were central to their approach. Spanish forces hired mercenaries from across Europe and exploited internal divisions among Muslim rulers to weaken their grip. Following territorial gains, Muslim populations were often forcibly converted to Christianity, and their lands were resettled with Christian colonists. These settlers were granted land and special privileges and were strategically placed in border areas to secure dominance. This policy was not only about reclaiming land—it aimed to erase the Muslim presence and fully re-Christianize the society.

In recent years, one of the most aggressive campaigns against Islamic extremism has unfolded in China, where the government has implemented a sweeping security strategy aimed at combating what it terms the “Three Evils”: terrorism, separatism, and religious extremism. Triggered by violent incidents such as the 2009 Urumqi riots and the 2014 Kunming knife attacks, Beijing initiated a far-reaching crackdown in Xinjiang, a region predominantly inhabited by the Uyghur Muslim minority.

An extensive surveillance system is a central pillar of China’s campaign in Xinjiang, making the region one of the most heavily monitored in the world. Technologies such as facial recognition, mobile tracking, and AI-based behavior analysis are used to flag actions like prayer, wearing traditional Islamic clothing, or even growing a beard as potential signs of extremism.[15] Alongside this, the government has established so-called “vocational training centers,” where over a million Uyghurs and other Muslim minorities have been detained under the guise of education and deradicalization. Religious and cultural suppression is widespread: Mosques have been closed or demolished, and Islamic practices like fasting, wearing hijabs, or using traditional Muslim names have been restricted. Additionally, Mandarin Chinese is promoted over the Uyghur language, and large-scale Han Chinese migration into Xinjiang is actively encouraged, all contributing to the systematic erosion of Uyghur cultural and religious identity.

When stripped of their dignity, identity, and freedom, peaceful societies can respond with a force equal to or even greater than the extremism that threatens them.’

Though controversial and heavily criticized for human rights abuses, these policies have effectively suppressed overt Islamist activity, with the Chinese government citing increased stability and security as outcomes.

The enduring lesson from history—both ancient and recent—is that when civilizations are pushed to the brink by the relentless brutality of an uncompromising ideology, their patience eventually gives way to fierce resistance. When stripped of their dignity, identity, and freedom, peaceful societies can respond with a force equal to or even greater than the extremism that threatens them. And if global trends continue unchecked, we may be closer to that breaking point than we realize.

A Manifesto Against Extremism
  1. Build a Global Coalition to Crush Jihad: Across the world, there’s growing resistance to the rise of radical Islam and the woke-left alliance that shields it. From India to Israel, the U.S. to Hungary, nationalist governments with strong public backing are stepping up. But this isn’t a battle that can be won in isolation. We need a unified, global front that diplomatically isolates terror-sponsoring states and suffocates jihadists by cutting off funding, weapons, and support networks. Starvation is the only strategy for jihadist ideology.
  2. Zero Tolerance Must Be Law: Radicalism must be met with absolute, unapologetic law enforcement. Whether it’s border infiltration, online hate preaching, or mosque-based indoctrination, every form of extremism must be crushed swiftly and without political interference. While Gulf nations enact hardline policies, Western democracies commit slow suicide in the name of free speech, allowing radicals to preach sedition openly. That must end. Peace and national survival come before ideological purity.
  3. Act Like a Majority: Hindus, despite being 80% of India’s population, are bullied, sidelined, and made refugees in their own land. Appeasement politics have created a culture of cowardice, where soldiers tolerate stone attacks, and police avoid arresting extremists.[16] The same weakness plagues the West, where fear of being called “Islamophobe” prevents justice.[17] That era must end. The enemy isn’t at the gates anymore; it’s inside.
  4. Strike First: We can’t wait for the next bomb or attack. Surveillance, infiltration, and elimination of radical networks must become routine operations. Terror must be met with preemptive strikes.
  5. Terror Should Have Consequences for Families and Communities: If a terrorist emerges from a village, the whole community must share responsibility. If families and hometowns experience the consequences of terrorism, they’ll stop breeding or sheltering it.
  6. Civilizational Unity, Not Communal Division: Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, and others must unite with one voice: we will not be conquered by medieval zealotry. The enemy wants division. We must respond with unity, organization, and cultural confidence.
  7. Target the Source—Pakistan: Pakistan has long served as the global epicenter of Islamist terrorism. The global community must now act with unity and resolve. The United Nations must pass binding resolutions condemning Pakistan’s continued support for terrorism. All forms of international aid—financial, military, and humanitarian—must be frozen. Most critically, Pakistan should be formally designated a state sponsor of terrorism. The message must be clear: nations that breed terrorism will be punished, isolated, and made to pay a heavy price.
  8. Dismantle Madrassas: Madrassas breed indoctrinated youth with no skills but endless hate. They must be banned or replaced with real education. As Jordanian scholar Al-Tarawneh said, stopping radicalization before it starts is cheaper and more effective than fighting full-scale terror. Countering jihad begins with reshaping minds, not just chasing bullets.

The delusion that distant fires won’t reach your neighborhood must end. The entire world is impacted by jehad – Paris yesterday, Pahalgam today, Moscow or Minneapolis tomorrow. The world must come together to tackle this existential threat to civilization. The Overton Window – the range of options acceptable to the mainstream population at a given time – is narrowing all the time. Delay would be suicidal.
