A Twitter user ran a simple experiment to see if Twitter has an inherent bias against India and Hindus. He submitted an ad request to Twitter based on a recent Pew research report which was complementary to India for its evenhanded treatment of its religious minorities. The ad was under review for several days, after which it was rejected for being “sensitive.” Then, he submitted a completely made-up anti-India ad. This time, his ad was published within minutes!
