भारत के बिना सनातन धर्म? आस्था से परे एक सभ्यतागत यथार्थ
Aditi Joshi · 05/04/2026 - सनातन धर्म के निरंतर जीवित रहने की पूरी व्यवस्था केवल भारत में स्वाभाविक रूप से मौजूद है। यहाँ धर्म रोज़मर्रा के जीवन में रचा-बसा है, गुरु-शिष्य परंपरा आज भी जीवित है, धार्मिक संस्थाएँ हैं और हर दिशा में एक पवित्र सांस्कृतिक वातावरण है।
- विदेशों में, जहाँ हिंदू समाज क़ानूनों, सांस्कृतिक दबावों और अल्पसंख्यक स्थिति में रहता है, वहाँ समय के साथ धर्म अक्सर केवल पहचान या परंपरा के प्रतीक तक सिमट जाता है।
- भारत में भी समस्या कम नहीं है। मंदिरों पर सरकारी नियंत्रण, शिक्षा से अपने ज्ञान-तंत्र का हटाया जाना और औपनिवेशिक सोच ने धर्म की आत्मनिर्भरता को कमजोर किया है। जब धर्म को जीने की चीज़ के बजाय समझाने, सुधारने या नियंत्रित करने की वस्तु बना दिया जाता है, तो उसकी शक्ति धीरे-धीरे क्षीण होने लगती है।
- इसलिए भारत में सनातन धर्म की रक्षा कोई राजनीतिक या राष्ट्रवादी नारा नहीं, बल्कि सभ्यतागत जिम्मेदारी है। जो परंपरा अपनी जन्मभूमि पर कमजोर पड़ जाती है, वह दुनिया में कहीं भी पूरी तरह जीवित नहीं रह सकती। हिंदू धर्म का भविष्य उसी भूमि की मजबूती से जुड़ा है जहाँ से वह जन्मा है।
